School Holiday Programme

Nikki completed the first term assessments with flying colours! She have only one simple wish for her school holiday that is to play monopoly with our family. Her wish was eventually granted the other night after spending a whole day out with Noinoi, Mum and Dad.

Noinoi on the other hand have many wishes, these includes to return to King's Park in Perth, play bowling at the alley and swimming at Yiyi's house. During the first two days, we were in our best behaviours and Daddy and mummy were planning to bring us to the bowling alley.

But all these foiled because we quarreled with each other on the third day and even make our grandma so annoyed with us until Daddy have to rush back home to lecture us. It was then, Mummy and Daddy decided to cancel the bowling trip as penalty.

Having said that, they still love us a lot. As promised they took the day off yesterday to bring us out for movies and shopping. We couldn't decide which movie to watch as we were spolit for choice. Eventually Dad made a right choice by asking us to go for which was a nice movie with a simple yet meaningful message "LOVE". When you loves someone, there are some things that one should never say to hurt other's feelings. Sometimes, it maybe just too late to regret. Thank God that the movie didn't end up that way but closed with a happy ending filled with Love!

However, no doubt it was such a great movie, we were surprised to see that the entire cinema belongs to just our family and one other guy who slept through out the entire movie!

Swimming like a dolphin!

It is such a great relief to see that Noinoi is able to clear her mental block that she almost wanted to give it all up after 15 months of dutiful routine, water kicking with the swimboard, pool bouy and pushing the swimming pool wall.

We are rewarded with bursting joy when we learn that Noinoi could finally do her freestroke without aids. For first time in class, she's able to swivel her head smoothly, while coordinating her arms pulling smoothly like a little dolphin. Daddy used to say that she swims like a drowning shark, pushing her head out of the water, grasping for breath as if she's gonna chew someone's head off anytime!

This definitely calls for a little celebration which Mum and Dad are hoping to find some time during the term holiday to take us on a short retreat!

Nikki seems to be settling in well in school and also the new care arrangement. She can now wake up as late as she wants, plan and do things according to her own schedule in the morning before going to school.

Having said that, Nikki started her first term of school with some interesting encounters. One of them was the time when one of her classmates asked her for money after Nikki overheard that she told another friend that her daddy is very sad because he has no money. Some time later, the same girl gave Nikki a princess sticker and told her that she will give her more stickers each time Nikki can make her happy!
